How to activate 4G Internet service

To use 4G internet service, you need to follow these steps:
Requirements:
•    4G-compatible device: Ensure your device supports 4G technology.
•    4G SIM card: You need a SIM card that is compatible with 4G networks.
Steps to Activate:
1.    Obtain a 4G SIM card: Visit a Yemen Mobile sales center or authorized dealer to purchase a new 4G SIM card. The cost is 550 Yemeni Riyals.
2.    Activate your package:
o    Call 444 and follow the voice prompts to activate your desired package.
o    Use the quick code: 444package size#. For example, to activate a 2GB package, dial 4442#. You will receive a confirmation message.

4G service is currently available in the following cities and districts:
Amanat Al-Asimah (Sana'a): Amanat Al-Asimah and its suburbs, extending from Qa' al-Qaidi in the south to Bani Harith, Souq Jami'a Arhab, Souq Al-Sabah, Hamdan District, Ayal Sarih District, Bani Hashish District, Nihm District, Sanhan and Bani Bahlol District, Al-Tayyal District, Arhab District, Bani Dabi'an District.

How to Know if You're Connected to a 4G Network?

To determine if your device is connected to a 4G network, look for a specific symbol or abbreviation displayed in the status bar at the top of your device's screen.
Typically, this symbol will be:
•    4G
•    LTE
If you see either of these symbols, your device is connected to a 4G network.
Important Notes:
•    Automatic network switching: Your device will automatically switch to a 3G network if you move outside of a 4G coverage area.
•    Package expiration: Once your 4G package finishes, your device will switch to a 3G network until you renew your package.
•    Separate balances: Your 4G package balance is entirely separate from your 3G package balance.
•    Data-only packages: 4G packages are primarily designed for high-speed internet and usually don't include calling minutes or SMS.
